DCL Nutrition & Animal Health
Located in St-Hyacinthe, DCL began its activities in 1996. Manufacturer and Distributor of non-medicated additives for animals of the highest quality, such as enzymes, probiotics, prebiotics, minerals, disinfectants, aromatic compounds and plant extracts. These products are specifically designed for the pork, poultry and ruminant industry to improve animal health. This while respecting the fight against antimicrobial resistance, which is one of the major public health challenges of the 21st century, a health issue for livestock production and consumer food safety.
DCL has built its reputation on top quality products from internationally renowned suppliers.
We have expanded our activities at the request of our customers, especially to store their products. This has led to strong growth and that’s why we chose to stand out with more modern spaces that will meet the most demanding standards in terms of monitoring and traceability.

In order to meet the ever more demanding demands of the market, producers need to increase production efficiency and minimize costs, while securing consumers about the quality of the food they consume. DCL works with its customers to achieve these goals. Conscious of the daily reality and the constraints to which our customers are subjected, we are determined to provide them with the highest quality at a lower cost.

Having at heart the development of animal health on human health, DCL delivers products that are built to the highest standards of food safety, security and traceability.
HISTORY IN BRIEF
Distribution Claude Lévesque began its activities in 1996. Founded by Mr. Claude Lévesque from whom it inherited the name, the company has, from the beginning, centered its operations around the theme of animal nutrition.
Over the years, DCL has diversified its activities with the addition of new product lines: disinfectant products, vitamin supplements, specialty products and vaccines. DCL aims to provide its customers with value-added products. It focused on internationally renowned products, produced according to the highest quality standards.
In December 2005, DCL inaugurated its new offices, warehouses and distribution center in the heart of the Saint-Hyacinthe agri-food technology park.
In June 2006, CHR Hansen chose Distribution Claude Lévesque as its exclusive distributor for Quebec and the Maritime provinces.
On June 3, 2011, Mr. Claude Lévesque chose to leave his position as president. Confident in the future and with his head full of projects, Martin Grégoire acquired the company and took over the management of DCL which would now be better known under the name DCL Nutrition + Animal Health.
As of March 1st, 2012, DCL becomes a distributor of Omnigen-AF and Animate products from Phibro Santé Animale.
Even today, DCL is still present at many agricultural events and exhibitions. The company is always looking for new products and is committed to offering an increasingly complete and varied range of products. DCL continues to monitor developments in the field of nutrition and animal health.
